The Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is one of the most beautiful Renaissance style palaces of the Côte d’Azur. Built on the summit of the Cap Ferrat by the baroness Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, this superb villa has a fabulous collection of rare furniture, paintings, jewels, and porcelains, which belonged to the baroness herself.
The Villa is surrounded by nine magnificent gardens, decorated by shaded paths and adorned with patios, waterfalls, ponds, flowerbeds, and rare species of trees. Gardens required 7 years of work and demanded the talent of well-known personalities such as Harold Peto and Achille Duchêne.
